Grand Prix show jumper Peter Wylde, who won team gold at the 2004 Olympics in Athens, took a journey to the dark side this week under the watchful eye of Boyd Martin. Boyd posted on his blog that Peter rode Barbara and Donald Tober’s horse, Tawny, in his first-ever cross-country lesson this past weekend at Boyd’s annual Memorial Day clinic at Fitch’s Corner. We are all familiar with the story of Marilyn Little, who successfully crossed over from the Grand Prix ring to the Rolex arena — could Peter be the next?
