We posted an article on the new indoor eventing series in Southern California, Pacific Indoor Eventing, yesterday, and the idea was met with great popularity among our readers. Some readers thought it would be a great addition to the winter calendar in the colder states, while others thought that indoor eventing was a good way to attract newcomers to the sport.
While the arena cannot replace the terrain questions that a traditional cross country course offers, it’s still a great opportunity to practice the type of ride some of these obstacles require. Would you attend such an event if it were offered in your area?
Many thanks to Cassidy Wallace and Chloe Smyth for sending in their photos from last night’s successful event. If you’ve got any you’d like to share, send them to [email protected] and we’ll add them to this post.
