Welcome to cross country day at the Jersey Fresh International Three-Day Event! The CCI2* division is kicking us off starting at 8:30 a.m. EST, with Tamie Smith and Fleeceworks Royal setting out as our pathfinders on John Williams’ cross country course. 8:24: We have beautiful sunshine here at Jersey Fresh. We’re about five minutes away from the start.

8:34: Tamie Smith and Fleeceworks Royal are our first on course. They picked up a runout at 10b, the second corner in the main arena.

8:40: Tamie Smith and Fleeceworks Royal finish with 20 jumping and 20.8 time penalties.

8:42: Jennie Brannigan has fallen from Stella Artois at the second to last fence. She is up and on her feet.

8:44: Morgan McCue and Shannondale 54 clear through the Jersey Splash and looking great!

8:46: Nilson Moreira da Silva has retired Cash after two stops at the corners in the main arena.

8:48: Philippa Humphreys has pulled up Master Eli after the horse slipped on landing at fence 4.

8:48: Morgan McCue and Shannondale 54 finished clear with 14.4 time penalties.

8:49: We have a brief hold while fence 4 is repaired.

8:58: We’re finally back under way! Bevin Dugan and Kemmerlin are on course now.

9:05: Bevin Dugan and Kemmerlin had a runout at the cabin at 18b and are clear on the second attempt.

9:07: Skyler Decker and Inoui Van Bost are clear and looking good through the Jersey Shore. They are flying!

9:10: Skyler Decker has fallen from Inoui Van Bost at the trakehner at fence 19. She is up and ok.

9:13: Samantha Elsenaar has retired Banbury Sky after a runout at fence 8c, the wedge after the down bounce steps.

9:15: Mara DePuy has fallen from Congo Brazzaville C at fence 22, the triple bar cordwood that is the second to last fence on course.

9:16: Will Faudree and Hans Dampf have the course to themselves currently. They are clear through fence 8.

9:20: Bevin and Kemmerlin complete with 20 jumping and 9.6 time penalties.

9:23: Will Faudree and Hans Dampf came home 20 seconds inside the time to become our first double clear!

9:27: Lizzy Jahnke and Princeton are home clear and inside the time to move up to second place.

9:28: Allie Knowles and Bayr Necessity have a runout at the coffin at 5c. Live scores are now showing them as eliminated.

9:30: Emily Rzucidlo and Ladybug Traveler complete with 20 jumping (from a runout at the corners in main arena) and 15.6 time penalties.

9:36: Colleen Rutledge and Roulette are clear through the  Jersey Shore, and our leaders Frankie Thieriot Stutes and Chatwin are on course!

9:38: Colleen Rutledge and Roulette come home clear and inside the time, our third double clear!

9:43: Frankie Thieriot Stutes and Chatwin are home clear  and three seconds inside the time! Our fourth double clear and they keep the lead!

9:48: Justine Dutton and Jak My Style are home clear and just one second over to add .4 time penalties.

9:51: Tamie Smith and Lagos Star complete with a clear round and two seconds inside the time! That’s our fifth double clear.

9:55: Phillip Dutton and Sportsfield Candy go clear and inside the time. Our sixth double clear!

10: Blair King and Kingsman are home clear with 10.8 time penalties.

10:02: Julie Henk and Merry Sioux had a runout at the corner in the Jersey Shore. Clear on second attempt. We have a hold on course while fence repairs are made at Jersey Fresh.

10:03: Julie Henk fell from Merry Sioux at fence 22b, the cordwood and second to last fence.

10:07: Julie is on her feet and walking off the course after her fall from Merry Sioux.

10:13: We’re back underway after the hold. Victoria Kager and California Comet are clear through the Jersey Shore.

10:15: Victoria Kager and California Comet are home clear and inside the time!

10:19: Leslie Law and Call the Law are home clear with 8.8 time penalties.

10:22: Holly Payne Caravella and Bruisyard Hall are clear through the main arena.

10:31: Lexi Scovil and Charleston VI are home clear and inside the time by six seconds. Our eighth double clear!

10:32: Jennie Brannigan has withdrawn I Bella, so Daisy Trayford and Normandy Soldier are our last pair on course.

10:34: Daisy Trayford has pulled up Normandy Soldier after the main arena.

10:36: Nilson Moreira da Silva and Lady Colina complete with a clear round and 4.4 time penalties. That’s the last horse in the division.
