The Morven Park International & Fall Horse Trials is thrilled to announce that the MARS American Bred Talent Trophy will be returning for this year’s competition, scheduled for October 9–12, 2025. This special award honors the dedication of American breeders and the strength of the country’s high-performance eventing pipeline.
The inaugural champion for 2024 was No May Moon, ridden by Allison Springer and bred and owned by Nancy Winter, while the reserve champion was Rio de Janeiro, ridden by Emily Mastervich, owned by Nicholas Beshear, and bred by Cobblestone Farms.
Each year, the trophy is presented to the highest-placed American-bred horse at the 4*-L level. If no horses are qualified at the 4*-L level, it is awarded to the highest-placed American-bred horse in the 4*-S division. In addition to the honor of the trophy, the champion receives a $10,000 prize, with $5,000 awarded to reserve.
