It’s always a treat when we can get our hands on helmet cam footage souped up with SAP statistics, and this is a really fun one!
Sam Watson and horse Ballybolger Talisman, a 10-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding, both made their maiden voyage at Aachen this year as members of the Team Ireland, who ultimately placed third in the Nations Cup leg. Not only do we get the neat view of metrics courtesy of SAP, but Sam also narrates his ride, shown via helmet cam and interlaced with TV camera footage, and describes how he tacked each tricky combination.
