Doug Payne kindly took the time to walk Richard Jeffrey’s show jumping course this morning and give us the inside scoop on how it’s laid out. As usual, Richard is not taking it easy on the horses who have made it through the Final Horse Inspection, using related distances and tight turns to really test the competitors’ ability to come back out on Sunday to lay down a clean round.
You can also get an idea of how the track is laid out by watching Elisa Wallace’s walk, which is a great way to see what the riders are looking for when they walk their course.
