There was lots of action at Longines Luhmühlen over the weekend with an always exciting CCI5* and a huge CCI4*-S division that also played host to the German National Championships. Within the CCI4*-S division was eventual third place finisher, Andrew Hoy riding his own and David and Paula Evans’ Vassily de Lassos. Andrew wore his trusty helmet cam, so we can all ride the cross country course along with him in the video above!
The “Ginger Unicorn” is always a force of nature in the jumping phases, usually finishing the weekend on his dressage score or with just a few cross country time penalties, and Andrew has been working hard to get that dressage score even lower as well. He was rewarded this weekend with an international personal best score of 27.6, which they did indeed finish on.
