I love tack swaps. Shopping for that special find is always fun and they are a sporadic resource for my beloved rust breeches. I’m up to six pairs at last count, thank you very much. This weekend isn’t a tack swap, it is something much grander. It is Horse Expo weekend here in Northern California. Two years ago, fellow EN writer Stephanie Nicora, Hayley Sullivan and I had the good fortune to be demo riders for Gina Miles. It was a very unique experience — not quite a clinic and not entirely a performance either. This year’s clinicians really aren’t my style, but the shopping always is.
