It’s a gorgeous weekend for some fall eventing, and the action stretches from coast to coast with both Galway Downs and the Virginia Horse Trials running. I had to remind myself that the West Coast is a couple of hours behind me when I was getting frustrated with the live scores earlier – not even eventers are crazy enough to start dressage at 6 am! At Galway, Buck Davidson currently packs a one-two punch with The Apprentice and Absolute Liberty sitting atop the field after dressage. Cross country kicks off today at 1:50 pm local time (PST).
