Next Saturday (June 30th), Sharon White is hosting her third annual JUMP! event, which is a jumper derby combined with silent auction and loads of fun for all ages. If you’re in the area, Last Frontier Farm is a worthy visit, and I’ve heard nothing but wonderful reviews of JUMP!

For the past three years we’ve held an incredible jumping derby-type competition at Last Frontier Farm. There’s no event out there quite like JUMP! Riders compete in a combined show jumping and cross-country class, and Sharon has a blast leading course walks and coaching everyone. It’s the perfect opportunity to gain some experience for you or your horse or just enjoy a great day.
This year’s event is June 30 and you can still enter! JUMP! will offer multiple divisions from elementary through preliminary.
Brian O’Connor will be announcing all day and we will have fantastic raffle prizes and silent auction items from Sharon’s sponsors and others, including: paddock boots and half-chaps from Tredstep; a figure 8 event bridle from Nunn Finer; lessons with Linda Zang, Jimmy Wofford and Sharon, of course!; entries to horse trials; feed from Blue Seal; cool apparel from Kerrits; and surprise items from Equifit and Devoucoux
Proceeds from JUMP! will help Sharon on her journey toward a lifelong goal this fall: the Burghley CCI**** in England. .
As you might remember, Sharon and Rafferty’s Rules jumped around about 85% of Rolex cross country this year, and Sharon made a judgement call on his fitness and pulled him up sound and happy, albeit a bit tired. She is working towards her next goal of Burghley in the fall. Go team orange.
