I am a tattoo lover; I think that they are a wonderful way to express yourself. Granted, there are more than a few that I wish I could un-see, but I still spend a lot of time looking up tattoos that are way more intricate and expressive than I could ever imagine.
My love of horses and tattoos have intertwined only once: I have a tattoo on my wrist that bears the name of my former horse. However, I am constantly thinking of new ideas that I want to decorate myself with, but I have a rule where the idea has to marinate for several months to see if it is something I truly want to commit to.
Recently, a friend of mine who lost her horse over the summer got a new tattoo in his honor, and I got to thinking about the ways we immortalize our love of horses and eventing.
