The skies let up a little bit today, offering only a tiny reprieve from the rain in Normandy. However, temperatures remain chilly, and the forecast doesn’t offer much hope for the week. At least the ground won’t be firm on Saturday? This could certainly make for some interesting jogs tomorrow (ahem, TATE) and even more interesting dressage tests in the coming days. Team USA is all settled in, and everyone enjoyed a hack and a light flat today, getting to know their surroundings.

Six person team is RIGHT Sinead!!

And, really, it wouldn’t be a true social media roundup without a groom selfie…

Meanwhile, the Canadians were enjoying some (more) rain in Normandy today. Somehow I don’t feel the umbrella is helping all that much…

And we would be remiss if we didn’t mention the triumph that was Charlotte Dujardin and Valegro’s masterful performance in the dressage today. Look at those smiles (and those medals!)!
