Willow Draw’s first USEA recognized horse trials on May 28th, the Willow Draw Charity Horse Show, expects to donate over $10,000 to the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund. Carsten Meyer has designed an inviting cross-country course to welcome eventers for levels Starter through Training. The Semper Fi Fund is the top-rated veteran’s charity by two charity ratings agencies. The charity provides immediate financial assistance and lifetime support to post-9/11 wounded, critically ill and injured service members of all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, and their families. New updates have been released on the bombing at Holly Hill in Louisiana last December. The horse trials at Holly Hill is celebrating its 20th anniversary this weekend, and the entire eventing community is grateful to still have this venue and the wonderful Hewlett family behind it, even in the face of such unspeakable acts of violence. Roebke’s Run in Hector, MN is proud to announce that it will be hosting the 2016 Area IV Championships July 8-10. Prior to this, the first of two added schooling shows begins May 7, followed by Roebke’s Run CCI/CIC 1&2** and Horse Trials on June 10-12. After the July 8-10 Area Championships, Roebke’s Run Dressage Show is slated for September 3 and Roebke’s Run Eventing Schooling Show will take place the following day, Sept. 4.
