Kristi & Rosie are the returning champions from the CIC3* last year at Rebecca Farm, and they are using the event this year to prepare for Pau CCI4* in the fall. After posting a lovely dressage test for 2nd place, Kristi had a smooth round on XC, but accrued 8 time penalties because Rosie was feeling invincible, and now stand in 5th place. Kristi also had a lovely round on her CCI2* horse, Astro, and currently is 7th with him. Thanks to Kristi for writing and submitting!

Well, another cross country day at Rebecca Farm is over for me. There are still prelim horses running until six this evening! My day started out with a fantastic ride on my two star horse Astro at 8:03 am and finished with a novice student at 3 pm. My 3* ride on R-Star was incredible, but sadly she was feeling invincible, and I had to take some time to get her back for the combinations.
Some great rides from some newer Advanced riders and Katy Groesebeck is currently in the enviable position of both first and second! This is wonderful, Katy is such a talented young lady and works so hard, and it’s great to see her be so successful. It was wonderful to have riders from all over the country come to compete. Looking forward to to Arrow’s show jumping tomorrow and then scuttling home!
