We’d love nothing more to see Frankie Thieriot Stutes and Chatwin cantering up the centerline at Kentucky this week. Or at the just canceled Luhmühlen, where they finished 4th last year. Or anywhere, really. Heck. Alas, it isn’t meant to be … but this video is a delightful consolation prize.
Frankie pitted son Drake and nephew Beaux against Chatwin for an impromptu race and … well, we think Chatwin, a legitimate five-star horse who has averaged 2.2 cross country time faults per event across his FEI career, probably could have tried harder.
“Go Chatwin, get ’em!”
“He’s gonna get you. He’s coming … he’s going to eat your burrito … here he comes … you better run … he’s coming!”
