As if we hadn’t embarrassed Boyd Martin enough in the last few days … First, he runs wild through Wellington while filming a commercial, and then his wife Silva sent us this video of Boyd back when he was just a kid cantering over logs in a field.
Meet Willy, Boyd’s childhood pony. Willy is a solid citizen who happily carries Boyd all over the property, including over a course of makeshift cross country jumps. (Please note the posters that Boyd hangs in Willy’s stall to keep him “motivated” to compete.)
As any good cross county course designer would, Boyd picked out names for all the fences on his course. We decided to start a reader poll in favor of the best fence name, so vote for your favorite below!
